I’m naturally inclined toward this area because it’s within driving distance of major west Coast cities (L.A., San Diego, and others)—making it feel like a “natural” choice for a regional traveller wanting to get away for a short weekend.

Keep an eye out for stuff like that.If none of that works, you’re probably in it for the long haul until they leave on their own.

Also if you are selling, hopefully your agent has advised you but good practice to have a vacant unit to open the buyer pool to owner-occupied buyers/house hackers.
