After talking to my normal tax man, who admittedly does not work with SDIRAs, but IS eager to have a reason to brush up on them (and he has a lot of rentals himself, outside of an IRA), he/I have a couple questions.1) I assume that since it is alright to partner '50-50' with your own SDIRA, it would also be likely that it would be OK to do say 25% SDIRA, 75% Non-IRA (borrowed outside of the SDIRA, by me individually).

Big materials are easy (Cabinets, Counters, toilets, etc.) but small materials like screws, glue, caulk, paint brushes, rollers, plastic, are hard to estimate and put into a category.

I don't think it's feasible to do the firewood thing in this case, most of the bigger stuff was pine, and any hardwoods were mostly small brush.

You have to consider that in your decision. ok..1 more last caveat..all the cleaning supplies, lawnmower, trimmer, paint, brushes, ladders etc etc - I already own.

Have some qns regarding whether a sf is good for rent 1) Would the sf be considered lousy with the surrounding having few houses, locate at area with few roads and alot of brushes or very inside on the lot compared to other house?
