Her name is not on the home, it is only in my grandfather (she is his step daughter) & grandmother's name (as joint tenants w/ rights of survivorship, so it is now 100% my grandfathers home)  and my grandfather and her do not get along; he wants her gone.

I am with @Linda D. : I would never give the tenant the flooring of their choice, unless their choice just happened to coincide with what I chose to put in the unit (kind of like Henry Ford's "any color so long as it's black").
