It is 2 story with the thermostat upstairs and a valve by the furnace where you can direct heat or air either up or down.

In addition we'll work on cosmetic as well as functional items, like repair and paint the exterior and interior, do some work in the kitchen and bathroom, and take advantage of many of the MassSave initiatives like adding a heat pump and smart thermostats - for next to nothing.Luckily we're still in somewhat of the off season so it's the best time to do this work.We have discussed working on plans for upgrading then put that into motion this time next year then once completed, refinance with a much more valuable property.

Hello,Inspite of sending repeated requests my tenants who will be moving out soon have been abusing the centralized AC so I wish to introduce a process in my rental where I as a landlord am in control in setting the thermostat limits for my future tenants.Are there any specific thermostats which will allow me to program high and low limits on the thermostat the tenants can't bypass.

The thermostat is in the dining/living room, as are old-style standup radiators that seem to be very effective.
