Fireside Gas Fireplaces-radiant heat
Recent exchange into a 1 year old unit with a gas fireplace. Much to my surprise there is no fan. I am like is this just for show? Apparently you can install a fan but doesn't that seem like something that should come with? Not thinking much value to heating place. Have you seen this or built with it?
Have seen situations where lower budget construction has gas fireplace with back up baseboard but people primarily use fireplace down to heat whole place including upstairs.
Property is a higher end rental. Would you spend extra and install a fan or go with as is installed?
