You don't know how many times I coul get conventional loan in this way.In my case, my actual DTI is very low, but the way the gov calculated the income is so 1990-style that it doesn't reflect our true buying power.

I've seen managers give presentations to DIY landlords, teaching them how to better manage their rentals, and they hire the property manager once they realize their mistakes have been costing them money or time.

They also present a more palatable house hack then having roommates  Note as a teaching experience, the negative initial cash flow is more palatable.
