Be persistent. 

Persistence and consistency is the name of the game.  

To clear things up on what the links are in my opinion:As I was doing traditional business in Mississippi, I was persistently pursued by Roger C, as he was an acquaintance/friend of mine.

Don't give up and be persistent.

I try to get lots of people at the property at once to:-minimize wasted time on no shows-generate excitement and get people eager to apply quickly-stay safe -- I own properties in c/d neighborhoods, and while I don't have reason to be threatened, the more people are there, the safer I amPatience and persistence will get your properties rented to good tenants and help you grow your wealth.

From what you said it could be a total crook your dealing with regardless of the company he is representing or it could be a guy that has no ill intentions but is storm damage salesman that knows persistence pays off.
