you would need to make monthly payments to the seller during the rehab, just like to any other lender, and then if it were a rental, you would want the rent to cover the payments plus all other expenses.you'd also need to figure out how to pay for the rehab - either out of pocket, or finance it somehow.

Southbridge and Webster are cheaper as well.There will be obvious trade-offs in terms of location / amenities and price but i have seen good traction in all of the aforementioned locations.I'm looking for househacks for clients around central Mass and while they're not impossible to find by any means units in Worcester are typically trading at $225-250.

But did create issues of determination of value when distributing the assets of the LLC because all properties are probably not exactly equal in value or equal to a members % interest.But either of these can be made to work for you in the situation you describe.
