We have tried the add-ons like grocery delivery, tube rentals for rafting nearby, charcuterie boards, etc and have gotten ZERO interest.

Which is 1% of the folks on this board.

Every other house or business is boarded up.

So we have to replace the carpet and floor wood and cabinat board under the sink for that area, and repaint the ceiling.

My partner actually lives in the area that we want to invest in.The long term plan is to just use this as a buy and hold.We were planning on splitting all the repair costs.Great insight though, I think we will have to go back to the drawing board and see what type of property would truly benefit both of us.

I even went to the local Zoning board and showed them the expandable house video and specs.

I am a fan of checking in occasionally to make sure the cleaner is on top of things and to do a walk through to check safety things like deck boards and steps, railings etc.

Also a big one - on your condo STR policy make sure to get coverage assessments that may come down from the HOA board.
