Following this my father kept a newspaper article he found detailing dollar amounts of what you're allowed to charge tenants out of their security deposit (and beyond if necessary), most people don't realize it's quite extensive.

I've been told there is a process in North Carolina where we have to send certified letter to the owner, then wait a while, place an ad in the local newspaper, wait 30 days, then file paperwork to show the trailer is abandoned.
