If these were my two options, I would pick the area between Adams Village and Ashmont Station in Dorchester because of the location itself and the proximity to downtown Boston, Quincy, and Milton, and the availability of public transportation is also a plus.Depending on your style and needs, this small area has single family homes, great Victorian style houses, condos, apartments, and two and three family units.  

We are now in Oregon, and have a house in escrow that is located in Sunriver Village, which is a very popular area for those wanting 2nd homes, and especially for Vacation Rentals - Short term rentals.

It's in Waikoloa Village on the Big Island, by the golf course.

You might not be familiar or have any opinion, but how do you feel about property in Leisure Village?

If looking for upscale residence, look in South Hill Village, Sewickley, McKnight Road, Baldwin, White Hall, Penn Hills,  and Monroeville.

The only folks left are the yuppies, empty nesters, and hipsters in Canton, Fed Hill, Charles Village, and a handful of pockets here and there.

This is a foreclosure and the village inspector found mold in the building, which was disclosed to me prior to buying the property.
