We are relocating from Brandon, MS back home to Mobile/Baldwin County as I retire from the military (so, have a little knowledge about investing around military communities). 

My goal is to have a solid checklist complete and then close on my first property within the next 6-8 months (may seem long, but I am military and have a big move coming up plus some other financial objectives)...

As the missile strike approved in Syria, I'm interested to see how war time affect the real estate market.If any has real estate data or experiences for real estate market with military base from the 2000 - 2005 please share with me.

There is also the Dover air base there so I would research/ask questions here on BP about military housing.

I am currently looking into some military specific loans to see what I can be approved for and how that will dictate my budget.

We could NOT invest in real estate in this country without our strong military!
