I am also managing a local gym here in Saginaw.I was first introduced to real estate investing through the "Rich Dad Poor Dad" series by Robert Kiyosaki, and since then I have not stopped thinking about it.

I currently sit in a cubicle (in fact writing this from it), and once I shed this burden of a job (goal of april 2015), I want to do the following: wake up with my kids, watch cartoons with them and make them breakfast, take them to the zoo in the middle of the day when it's not busy, hit the gym in the afternoon before the 9-5ers start flooding in, golf early in the morning when it's cheap and not busy, travel home to see family or take trips to the beach or ski slopes whenever we feel like it.  

Can you write off a Gym membership?

Directly across the street is Homecoming, where they are nearly $1000 more per unit for the same size, but offer private community "themed" courtyards, an better gym "Equinox" style clean, and farther refined landscaping.

I have the ability to leave a small gym setup, but I'm not sure if its a liability or if I could produce a waiver to sign with lease?

In discussing our new passion for real estate, a friend from the gym advised they were buying a new house and needed to sell their current one before they could close on the new one.

Hit the gym to build muscle, flexibility, and stamina.

@Jesus Sosa  Surprisingly I had the most success at my gym.

My personal goal is to open a gym by either buying an existing structure and upgrading or by just buying the land and building depending on the deals out there and once I have done more research and gained more knowledge.
