I suppose if you owned a property in an area with poor/no property management facilitators, and you wanted to turn your property into STR, there might be some value in letting someone else do it who can make more money than you can, but generally the pieces don't really fit together all that well.

(BTW, I've often said that advertising is the art of deceit).We hear the lame justifications of "sell the contract, not the property", bottom line, you are using contracts as a "listing" to facilitate a sale for a property owner.

I would recommend getting in to speak with them, or at the very least you might consider the right facilitator who can help you navigate the process thru city hall. 

The brokers I know have their situations handled, and I think there are a lot of opinions out there as to what constitutes "brokering" as opposed to "facilitating" or whatever you want to call it.

Does anyone know of a good 1031 exchange Facilitator in southern Califonia, Los Angeles to be exact.

I thought a licensed real estate broker working as a property manager, under a principal broker could receive commission from a real estate sale they help facilitate.
