Not too far away; pipe the water to  Phoenix/Tucson and these cities could sell their water rights to Vegas/ So Cal.Or, like the old Chutes & Ladders game from our youth, would seem more logical for Army Corp of Engineers to build a connector system of the nations river systems and divert water to where it's needed as it becomes available.

Turns out they couple missed a $350,000 first mortgage and the sale did not wipe out any mortgages, so they just bought a $285,000 property essentially for $350,000.Have also seen where current owner got the property from a relative like parents and there was still an outstanding mortgage in the parent's name on the property, not notified and therefore not discharged even at the Judicial Sale.

I've seen AC condensate pump lines that were operating properly, discharging onto the roof, get bent over and decked over, that continued to pump water into the ceiling void destroying three floors of apartments over a two year period before the cause was, literally, uncovered.Water runs downhill, and looks for the easiest path to do so.
