I would bet the attic is the 3rd br so it's really about 1k- 1200 sq ft overall. 90% of the props in all of Cleveland have converted the attic to make it a 3 br.

I am looking for a house that I can convert into duplex so that there can be two living spaces, live in one and rent out the other.

We have seen a lot of bank to medical conversions here - lots of dentists like banks actually - but they can be VERY expensive to convert.

If you have to apply/guarantee the name in your loan, I'd be honest with your lender and ask their thoughts on you converting to an LLC after.

@Chuck WardCan you afford the home if it were conventional financing and you had to convert it to a long term rental?

I know you can convert a traditional IRA to Roth by just paying tax on the amount converted, but no other ways to inject more money in there.
