I have a call in to the ceiling repair person to ask HIM about replacing the insulation if there is sign of mold on sheetrock.

There is a drop ceiling and the wood behind the ceiling looks perfect.I think the house could be a $240k home even in this slow, slow market if fixed up.

Needless to say I had to tear the whole kitchen ceiling out to get to the leak.

that makes a difference where i'm fromcieling hieight...in these upper scale homes, 8ft ceilings are a hard sell around here....

Looks like it has some roofing issues seeing that in the top level apartments the ceiling have caved in a couple of areas.

I have been informed by a tenant that the ceiling was dripping water last night (after a long rain) so i suspect that I have a roof leak.

The only thing that makes me hesitate is one of the bedrooms has had the sheetrock removed from the ceiling, and the carpet was removed from that room and the room next to it.

I want all the walls and ceiling removed and have the room blueboarded with plastering.

They said that they replaced the roof but that the house needed ceiling work.
