I had forgotten it was Fathers day until yesterday.I am 37 now and my dad was killed in a car wreck when I was 15.I have no kids yet but I am planning on having some.When the kids come I am sure Fathers day will kick in again and mean more.I do remember him but it was so long ago.I hope everyone has some fun today.I will just be cleaning up my office and watching movies with the wife.I might look at some old pics for nostalgia.One of my friends still has his dad but not his mom so we are backwards in that respect.

Your neighbor's plan sounds kind of like a dumb move to me.1) short sale during soft market and wreck credit2) build credit for 2 years until maket improves3) buy, once again, in seller's marketI don't think I'd be taking real estate projection cues from your nieghbor - even though really nobody can predict the future.

Be open to their recommendations, and LOOK BEYOND COST if you want to make the big bucks.You don't have a two bedroom wreck, and I'm guessing that you're not a two bedroom wreck of a person.
