Zillow is not ideal because this is a monthly furnished rental - which Zillow doesn't have a specific platform for - but that's what has worked for me up to now.

However, I agree with you that I will never again work with that specific attorney again.

These were not specifically related to owning rental properties but the clients' assets (including any owned property) was better protected due to having umbrella coverage.  

But for many people, it is one of a number of sources of deal flow, to add to MLS listings, wholesalers, direct owner outreach, auction, etc.Assuming you are specifically talking about sheriff auctions, just make sure you familiarize yourself with the general procedures for the auction.

I the understand the wiring for this specific purpose equipment can be considered with the tangible property. 

Income will depend on your plan for the specific asset. # of units doesn't necessarily equate to how much income you could make.
