It doesn't sound like a showstopper to me.Did you ask the plumber if there is anything people can flush that will help keep the lines clear?

There are easily 5-6 meetings per week you can go to and learn from people who have been in this business for decades.

And I 100% believe for average people owning real estate over a 10 year time horizon is the best opportunity to bring wealth, freedom and margin to their life. 

My biggest question when I was researching all the programs was "If these people are so successful at what they do, why are they charging so much for all of this and always trying to upsell?" 

The first time this happened, the board of directors got an email showing trash everywhere, and HOA management offered to get "their people" out there to clean asap.

I’ll be honest it’s not clear to me real estate is necessarily a better investment than say the stock market, certainly not a bad investment but not as hyped as some people make it, you need to decide how much owning your own home is worth to you & also how long you plan to be in the area, if you will be here for the foreseeable future, bite the bullet and buy, if your not sure where you will be in a few years, renting might make more sense.

Each grouping had a common room (perhaps it was shared by multiple groupings ... this was a detail I missed) with a nurses/aid workers office.Central to the two sides of the complex were common facilities such as a dining hall, gym {perhaps a pool ... another detail I missed}, theatre &  games room.With one of the fastest growing groups in our society being single people, we are examining a related idea of a  complex / building providing a modest-sized 1-bdroom "apartment" with more semi-private and common amenities.When I read the title to your thread, I thought it was a project proposing to mix students and seniors into a single complex ... and came in thinking, this ought to be interesting :-) 

New York is hard to evict people and you'll end up spending more time and money doing it yourself.

Much easier for people to use and safer overall.It is shocking to me how many folks can't start a fire.
