Those stories told by that local instructor will tell you how things are done locally, some internet course can't possibly go there being 250 miles away in another city in that state, if they are even in that state!

If it is convenient I would recommend live classes as you get to meet instructors, students and can network with others in the fieldI went to Champions RE school in Plano and they offer live, online or self paced classes.
