Yes, I share the same feelings and dont understand why the information and steps required is SO extensive! 

One tip: focus on areas with year-round demand and check local regulations early—they can make or break a deal. 

Another trick from investers I’ve worked with is chatting up folks at local meetups who’ve recently navigated the same municipality.. they’re often happy to share how fast or slow things move.
