Our home is located in a great neighborhood, right next to excellent schools, close to several hospitals, and other amenities. 

You might get lucky and get matched right away but chances are, there isn't a fire happening right were you are at, and with the right home / school / budget, etc.

deals will be what you make of them - there is nothing magic about going thousands of miles away just for a slightly lower price point.

Caution: you said the magic words "I'm in California" so every out of state real estate agent and probably wholesaler on BP is going to contact you. 

As soon as possible after receiving a booking, I personally call the Guest and thank them for booking with us, ask if they have any questions and ask if there is anything that we can do in advance to prepare for their stay.Guess I'm just old school.....But then again, 11 years and only 5 STAR reviews......
