Yes, subs may not always think you're competent and quote accordingly and others will bend over backwards and do little things, without charging, because you're a woman.

Definitely a focus area from lenders, conventional or otherwise - theres been a reported uptick in occupancy fraud or funny business lately as rates and values have continued to be so high and qualifying so tough - people are more likely to bend the rules on stuff like this - so this is generally the lender response

We are harmed when the property is transferred to a weaker borrower and when attorneys actively coach these new property owners...owners we never agreed to work with...to bend the law and draw it out as long as they can.
