In the two counties I looked at there weren't big differences in land appreciation between the areas that the samples were selected. 

In the process you are getting rid of the dross and dreck.Whether the property should be in land trusts or whatever is not your main concern.

As your real estate empire grows, consolidating loans into one could offer better terms and streamline management.Overall, your method of buying, living, and then converting properties into rentals is a strong, scalable strategy for building wealth.
