As you are 20 and the technology world has moved on from when I started with RE there are many more ways to network now than there were in the past.

Well, actually, from Long Island, even worse.Back in NY, I ran a technology and telecommunications company for almost 7 years and before that, was CIO for a major financial services company in New Hyde Park, LI.Along with other family, we own several rental homes and continue to hold them.

Always good to run into another savvy technology user.Steady and slow can work wonders once you have a few properties and time works its magic.Commercial is the way a few people start. 5 unit or larger residential rather than office buildings and other things.

They are not the new "cool" technology, but according to the company the solar reflective index is as high as some of the "cool colors".

What other companies are applying technology in new ways that will likely change the RE marketplace?

As usage drops, prices will drop.There are several (VIABLE) ways to decrease our usage of oil:1: drive less2. drive smarter, smaller, more efficient vehicles3. develop alternate fuels, not viable short term, maybe 20 years out4. develop new technologies, maybe, maybe not, I think once our smart brains start working on this we may see big changes5. drive smarter, YOURSELF.
