Most people in their early 20's / 30's have the 2008 financial collapse tattooed on their brain and their psyche.

All electrical, plumbing, HVAC, spray foam insulation, energy efficient windows, etc...He does have all the invoices and receipts from the contractor doing all the work.

I think @Caleb Heimsoth and @Thomas S. have a point you should think through.

These products have improved over the years and the sturdy, thicker planks with foam padding built in that click together to form a smooth floor are quite nice.

I agree with repainting them if you are really looking to shave pennies.

It seems to be much higher quality than any of the other similarly priced options, and has a nice locking system and backer foam. 

Will try to bring this floor up to code.Water is not on yet, not until demo is done so not sure of plumbing issues, other than the hot water heater is sitting on a 10"x1"x3' board with foam filling in the other areas under the heater!

You'd be surprised, very often they can shave off 1/8th (0.125%) just to be sure to get the loan when they know you're otherwise going to go to a competitor.

If so, how much time does it shave off and how much are you paying for one?
