You may be engaged in the fruitless pursuit of an untamed ornithoid.BTW: In your area, three of the five parks that are upscale senior parks do have written policies and procedures regarding Fair Housing and related issues.

It will be a part-time pursuit, but I do have a flexible day job and am able to take calls, email, and leave when I need to. 

Obviously, I know there is no singular answer better than the next, but I'd really like to know so that I can lay the groundwork for what steps to take next in pursuit of my goals while minimizing time 'wasted' during this learning curve.Thanks in advance! 

I do agree that short term rentals are profitable here and fully worthy of pursuit (although if you're going to manage them yourself they are some work), but I would not close a deal based on Airbnb numbers.

I am very new to everything but I consistently hear the stories of how hard work pays off, and love that aspect of this pursuit.

We are finally full-fledged and full-time in this pursuit so it's great to 'meet' folks, especially locally, who have experience and insight from which we can glean :)
