I see youa 're in NYC .I doubt strangers would want to share a house here...I'm not close to the colleges where that happens a lot...

It is not their property they are selling, so why should they need to have their home walked through by strangers?

I don't mean to be rude but chances are good if you've never done a real estate transaction, strangers within the real estate world are probably not going to vouch for you to a lender.  

If I have to decide on letting strangers manage my money or me managing my money, I chose me.

The servicer/lender has its own audits to contend with, and a stranger paying your mortgage raises a flag to your servicer/lender inspectors, and puts the onus on the institution to show that you and your LLC are jake.

If this is a method that you find interest in, do not limit yourself just to some stranger online saying it's a good area to invest etc.
