But our product was/is nicer so we are out selling the other developments regardless of commissions offered except Lennar as they are hundreds of thousands cheaper for same sq foot.. and I think my wife double ends almost half our sales..

As others have said it costs thousands of dollars to move, so if landlords are aggressively raising rents or adding lots of “hidden” fees, it’s not surprising renters feel taken advantage of.

I didn't owe anything, but I had sold my car to someone who racked up several thousand in parking fines and then promptly disappeared so they tried to flip the charges back on me as I was the only one left with money to collect.I called an attorney who sent them a cease and desist letter along with a warning that they would be liable for substantial damages if they ever contacted me again (and we would sue if they did).

Why spend thousands of dollars in points to get the rate down to 6.1%, if the normal interest rate is 6.1% in a year and you can buy it down to 5% or 4%, etc.Nobody knows how low rates will go, but with the fed signaling that they will likely begin rate cuts in Sept, it's certainly a good sign.
