It appears that it’s very common I think people who have never lived in an area like this have some horribleness misconceptions about our real estate

There are multiple places I can point to that clearly dispels this, and areas you may consider horrible to drive in others may not see it this way.

The traffic there is horrible and more and more people are finding residency within the CBD areas and that means condos.

Maybe you went to a horrible house, or have some interesting stories of the sellers themselves.

(Horrible idea, but I was 19 at the time.) 

The only reason that its not way more $ considering how close it is is that there is a highway that divides it AND the schools are horrible, like active gang activity in the highschool bad, but if you don't have kids and even if you're planning on them a few years out, the schools there will get better, its just going to take a bit. 

With a little more info, I'd say this area isn't a horrible idea for 5-8 years, especially outside of Seattle proper and King County.

Horrible idea.....a night club business with someone with no experience....a recipe for disaster.

They had the listing for the first two months and after doing some quality control spot checking on the listing, I realized they were doing a HORRIBLE job marketing and maintaining the property.
