What impediments exist that keep women from enjoying real estate and financial freedom?

I moved to Columbus from Connecticut in 2012 for school and have really enjoyed living in the city.

The problem I see my clients get into with vacation rental purchases when the intent is to get something they can enjoy as well is that many times they get tired of going to that one spot. 

I'm definitely still in the exploration phase to see if I will end up going this route, but as I've furnished multiple units, I've realized I don't really enjoy that part of the process nor is design a strength of mine, so if I can hire it out to someone who will do a better job than me for a reasonable price, I will.

Then some other goon gets up and tells his rags to riches story, even poking fun at Amway for doing the same smoke and mirrors tactics to get members as I had just been subject to. 

I actually enjoy construction but I'm ready to be my own boss.

I'm particularly passionate about multi-family, section 8, and single family asset classes.Outside of real estate, I enjoy Traveling, reading, and astronomy.Excited to learn and connect with you all!

That does come with time, and there is some value in trying a few different strategies to hone in on what you enjoy and what you are good at. 

Typical "surprises" for investors are ELECTRICAL hard wired, interconnected smoke/carbon detectors - tamper free outlets and 20 amp GFCIs at kitchen counters, romex or bx wiring and covered closet lighting.
