For example, I am taking time from analyzing deals, talking to potential investors, negotiating with sellers, etc because I am distracted by a new problem brought to me by a team member.A better approach is to make it a policy for my team not to bring problems to my plate until they came with potential solutions to accompany the problem.

I believe the reason the home didn't sell for 2 years was due to poor photo, and poor showings, People need to feel as if they can come right in and start living, If homeowners have messy distractions it will immediately remove focus from the home and buyers will focus more on the mess.

With regards to net worth, It is no longer being worth doing anything when it keeps you from doing something more valuable with your time.I can imagine house hacking being such a distraction and annoyance that it could easily keep you from earning an extra $1k or $2k per month.
