The One Thing: Quit everything!!

Hi BP, I just finished reading "The One Thing" by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan. Reflecting on the book, I'm realizing there are some good things I need to drop so I can focus on Real Estate. I think some of the good things, I was trying to pursue not because I loved it but because I felt like I NEEDED IT to be "good." I think I was looking for  validation from people instead of doing it cause I wanted to do it. Then I get to the point where am doing a lot of things poorly, which leads me to believe I'm failing. Then my confidence is all lost because I gave up on something I actually didn't care about.

Now I'm looking for things I truly care about and that will lead me to where I want to be. I'm focusing on removing the distractions. I hope that makes sense and if someone else feels the same way or has felt that feeling, comment below. I want to know I am not alone:)
