I still think in terms of what I want to get done (sometimes in broad brainstorming mode, other times in specific goals mode), what my fallback plans are if something goes wrong (Murphy's Law and the corollary to Murphy's Law -- "Murphy was an optimist"), and what my potential upside is if everything goes right (it actually happens sometimes).The self-confidence I've gained from this process has been incredible.

Through these brainstorming sessions we've been scouting potential deals.

Imagine the plumber providing services, the customer telling him he can't pay, and the two of them brainstorming how the customer can come up with money to pay the plumber? 

When brainstorming ideas, that was actually the strategy I felt would work the best for me to get started.

One of my goals this year is to systemize my property management side business.This means I am taking time to create systems and develop procedures to make my life easier and to better my tenants experience.Every Monday (my day off) I sit down for a few hours and either brainstorm ideas, create new SOPs, or take action as needed.One example of this is creating a rent collection process where tenants can now leave their rent in my "rent drop box" which I will pick up every month instead of me chasing down each tenant individually.I look forward to seeing where I'm at by the end of 2019!

We have the space (almost 1/2 acre) and was brainstorming about the possibility to go with more units.
