New To BP (Northern VA)

Hi BP Community,

My name is Matthew and I've spent some times on the boards but have never posted. I'm currently a RE investor and a full-time high school teacher. I live in the Northern Virginia area but own properties in Harrisonburg, Richmond, and Baltimore. So far my investment partner and I have purchased 15 properties and sold 1. I'm more of a buy-and-hold investor but am interested in flipping, timberland, and potentially wholesaling.

I started investing in real estate in December of 2013 through shoulder tapping for loans. The first 10 properties my partner and I purchased were paid for through non-conventional financing (acquaintances, family, and people we met through networking). Recently we started embracing the banking industry but I'm not a big fan of being personally attached to properties. 

I'm interested in networking through this site and am happy to provide insight into areas that fall within my expertise.

@Jay Helms For Q1 I would like to pick up 1-2 more properties if the right deals present. I'm also looking to restructure some debt to increase my current cash flow.
