Spam comes in a variety of media, not just email.It may be call junk mail, crap TV (think Vonage ads), online pop up ads, or "a salesman's at the door".Sending lots of unwanted, unsolicited offers that you cannot perform on only clutters up the media channel that you use to send them. 

Account Closed there is no need to fill your post with spam to try to generate attention.
