I screen the heck out of people and sift through folks that don’t seem to care.  

@Deo Sanders You will need to sift through 60-100 deals before you buy one, especially your first.

It's so tough to sift through and decipher good companies from companies with good marketing budgets and SEO.

But there is some good talent on there after you sift through the applicants you get. 

Keep in mind that as you sift through the haystack looking for the needle, so is 90% of the people on Bigger Pockets and everyone on every RE Facebook Group.

The point of the 1% and 2% rule is so that you can sift through the masses of properties faster.

I sift through the MLS almost everyday and sometimes I only find good deals a few times a week or none at all.

You may not find anything for a while but it will help you learn how to efficiently sift through properties and sort the crap from the potential.

I'm not a fan of all the facebook pages that tend to draw people away from this site and they are full of junk.On the other hand, BP provides a TON of information for free if you're willing to sift through it.I like to see how many posts/votes a user has, but would really like to see how many properties or units they own/manage!

You need to sift through a lot of bs to land on some legitimate and meaningful connections.Out here in real life and on biggerpockets is where I've grown most of my real network.
