Social Networking Off the Network

Hi All

Many people have decided to live without social media and to forgo the whole enterprise (myself included). Unfortunately, this means missing out on a robust set of tools. I'm interested in how folks in the BP community have found networking without social media. Do you find it challenging to make the connections you want? Are there opportunities you know you're missing because you're not on Instagram/fb? Do you feel you have any advantages over those who are on social media?

Bigger Pockets is a great resource, but I'm curious how others handle social networking without being on the network.
