Went to get pre aproved and sadly, a collection on my credit for 6000, won't let me get approved: ( ,from bad roommates 5 years ago.

Hi my husband and I live in a two bedroom apartment for about 5yrs we are renting a room to get a lil help, we have a female and her daughter as a roomate. She has complained about her roof leak to me more than twice....

I would be interested in SFHs, but if I'm using FHA then I have to live there, and it would be hard to find roommates to live with me, while I'm in the house.  

You can deduct a portion of the expenses with a roommate though.

For most of this past year my brother and I have shared our 5 bedroom home with 3 roommates.

Almetta has diabetes and Earl has recently had a flare up of his heart problems and I'm thinking of bringing up the issue of  them adding a roommate (their rental is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath) to help out with the yard work and share the rent a bit just so I'll have these folks as tenants for as long as possible.Gail

I would then consider living there and renting out the other two rooms for a couple of years to roommates. 2) There is a 700 sq ft garage/workshop (not connected) in the back.

I was in the Navy and had a lot of apartments and roommates, and even roomed with married people, and it was not easy.

Are you looking for a studio or 1BR or want to have a roommate? 

It might be a college town, but a lot of college students want roommates (typically to bring the rent down for them).
