Because we cannot do short term rentals in our area we chose to do mid term furnished in one of our units. 

It took every penny I had at the time to get in on this, then I had to get into more debt to furnish it and make it a home.

If you want short term, you can look at furnished finders. 

Furnishing will be determined by how nice of furniture you want to use.

The front house is rented to long term tenants (unfurnished) while the casita is rented to midterm tenants (furnished).
