One of them has connections with wholesalers while the other has some knowledge, experience and enthusiasm.

Local friends rave about opportunities here, and research I've done support that enthusiasm. 

Share your enthusiasm to learn and I am sure people will be happy to help. 

I find that STRs are a great way to experience a city and stay someplace fun and unique.The Colorado Springs City Council, however, doesn't seem to share my enthusiasm.

In fact, I'm hoping to help her avoid getting stymied by some early misstep in her enthusiasm to get started.I suggested she start with education and networking...podcasts, the BP forums, books and local meet ups if she can find time for those...and to think about her business plan for carefully growing the nest egg she has worked so hard to earn back.I've heard such stories on the podcast through the years but cannot recall which episodes nor do I know how to search that.

Also realize that outside of all the enthusiasm/hype we all feel, is leaky roofs and tenant issues ect.
