This is just another Silicon Valley Bank/First Republic Bank-related issue.

With silicon valley it was treasury bonds and with first republic it seems like it was mortgages. 

Maybe it's because I've lived overseas (Japan and Czech Republic) where it's extremely offensive not to remove shoes.
