Hi all,I purchased a new build single family house last December and just found out there are several issues with the house: the bathtub is not installed, the roof is unfinished, the ridge flashings are not installed, plumbing pipe boots are not installed correctly and it results in rain water flowing into the house and leaked through the attic to the second floor then went on to the first floor.

In no particular order: East Ridge, Hixson, Red Bank. 

I like to look at the ridge line, is there any sagging. 

@Mary JoeI agree with what Dor said, you can’t really compare Astoria to Bushwick or Bedstuy, it is more like the Bay Ridge of Queens.

If you don't have enough exhaust, I HIGHLY recommend ridge vent.Hope this helps. 

Wheat Ridge, Arvada, and unincorporated Adams county are all Airbnb-friendly and could be a GREAT house hacking strategy if you're up to it.

My 2nd out of state is a STR in Blue Ridge, GA and I have one under contract in St Pete beach.

There are other areas besides Aurora that allow non-owner occ STR and you could Airbnb the other half of a duplex in, like Wheat Ridge, Centennial, Arvada (existing regs which allow), unincorporated Adams county and Westminster (no current restrictions or regulations allowing/preventing).

Blue Ridge, Smokies, Myrtle will all be good.
