You are never too old to get involved in real estate, and being young will give you a distinct advantage for the long run.If you have only read Robert Kiyosaki's initial book, I recommend you look at the rest of his books and books by other authors in the Rich Dad series of books.

I had actually authorized it - but haven't gotten charged for it (at least as of yet).  

To discount everyone else but yourself as a new person acting like one of experienced authority, IMO, needed to be pointed out. 

My husband (as the sole borrower) had to then list me as an "authorized representative".  

@Tim unity, start corp or evwn housing authority programs are not  always the best route.

This is just a business deal, no emotions for me... there will be others and its just how it works.Also found they have a section 8 tenant on a month to month (that I was going to remove anyway) that has been in violation of section 8 rules (additional occupants)... the Housing Authority has been looking for proof adn now I have it (the seller said in writing that they have been doing this for at least two years).

Whether such a practice is authorized in your state depends entirely on your state's laws.
