@Jackson Pudlo Hey Jackson,I realize you posted this 6 days ago, but both options—SFH and Multi—are great.

We are looking at single family, and/or small multi family homes in the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin areas.

These I have found are real, striving parents, working their butts off to provide the best housing and school system for their children.My ethos in this approach is exactly why we at LaPlante refer to them as Residents, as we consider "Tenant and Landlord" to be dated terms and rife with negative emotion.

Occasionally I see wholesalers with 10-50 unit multi family. 

In Hawaii the debris was systemically removed, wrapped in plastic and disposed at a 70+ acre site the city acquired.

Consider house hacking where you buy a multi-unit property and rent out the others.

Investment Info:Large multi-family (5+ units) fix & flip investment in San Francisco.

And the more there is, the more log jammed the system get's, the longer they all take. 

I also have camera's on many of my multi-families so that helps(only on exterior)Keep pushing man!

@Jonathan Klemm my hope is to continue to look for opportunities, primarily multi-family but also SFR.
