Put it in writing and memorialize this.I have had issues with untrustworthy people going around just talking smack and game, so I now come to the table with such things as police reports, court orders, legal records, court docket files.Some individuals even ones on this site, love to lob volleys, but coming with documents and facts always backs the case.

My foggy memory was cleat only in that I was twice able to recoup the property tax I paid on property I did not own.Rick,  I grant the possibility -if not the likelihood, that a person, like me –or as in this thread Mike Flora, could have an indefensible lien if the matter is contested on the basis that the payer; (1.) volunteered to pay, (2.) paid to third party (the county), and (3.) the tax paid had been levied against the property, not the individual owner.

One of his break through investments was when he bought stock with book value 3 times (approximation from memory) their current price if he could talk the board of the company to sell off assets, which he did.
