I think the best operators will survive and thrive, but a lot of other owners will have to make some tough decisions.

Funny how On here everyone in a hot market in a major thriving city thinks that lower priced homes under 50k are junker houses in the hood that can’t appreciate ! 

If you have a property in an area popular enough to warrant a thriving STR, there's probably competent property management available, and if you don't there's probably not enough business for someone else to pay you what you want, them to do the work and make a profit on top of that.

Hi Guys,To answer your questions @Alon L. yes LA does permit container homes, the city actually has a green housing program that will even give you free shipping containers.

Areas I was concerned about buying in years ago are now thriving areas that I wouldn't think twice about buying in.  

With that, I hope to share my knowledge as I learn from mistakes (hopefully not too many), reading, videos, conversation, etc; I will start in the Northern Nevada market and continue here, but plan for my main market to be in the thriving Denver and surrounding area.
