One of my goals this year was to take actionable steps into jump starting my real estate journey, so here I am, taking that first step.A little about me: I'm a San Antonio native that lived out of state for a couple of years but has migrated back home.

Living in the house has definitely slowed progress. 

Hey Jeffrey, I am from Mount Vernon (Parents still live out in the Tulip Fields off of Memorial Hwy), but currently live in HI.

I needed to buy my first investment and also needed a place to live.

Our out of state investors first came directly from our circles of influence in Denver where I lived and Florida where my older brother lived.  

They're investing tons of money into those areas, and attracting a lot of good renters who work in the medical profession and will pay good rents to live close to their jobs. 

Currently our favorite idea is a SFH we can convert to an up down duplex by sealing off a staircase with an ADU on the property for us to live in.
