Plan the space for standard size free standing appliances that can be easy changed out when necessary.In your drawing you mention "electrical box".... is that the location of the electrical panel (which would be costly to relocate) or is it an electrical outlet?

Based on the pics there are GFCI outlets in the kitchen so it looks like it has already been brought up to code with electrical.
